Micronic Technologies Commissions the Tornadic One-Pass™

Micronic Technologies proudly commissions its first Tornadic One Pass™ (TOP™) unit. Industry experts describe this technology as a “game changer” for cleaning the world’s wastewater, beating competitive technologies on both price and efficiency. This unit is designed to produce 1,000 gallons per day, potentially reduce wastewater volume by >95%; remove contaminants by >99%; use no filters, membranes, or chemicals; and is projected to cost 50% less than competitive technologies. Micronic considers the technology’s best application is in treating ultra-high total dissolved solids in industrial wastewaters where near zero liquid discharge is sought by industries looking for 100% water reuse.

This patented water purification technology cleans industrial wastewater from any source at less cost, more efficiency, and more effectiveness than any other technology on the market.

TOP™ is a closed-loop mechanical system that uses a turbulent flow creating micro-droplets of water, a small number of which carry out solids. This wastewater treatment technology allows for extremely efficient evaporation and clean water re-capture through condensation. The tornadic action inhibits scale production, induces evaporation at low temperature and low pressure, and separates contaminants from water in a single step.


To date, the feed wastewater sources processed through TOP™ have achieved >99% reduction of total suspended solids, total dissolved solids, bacteria, heavy metals, biochemical oxygen demand, fungi, pharmaceuticals, and nanomaterials. This waste contributes to environmental stress and costly disposal and creates a lost opportunity to mine valuable waste products economically.
