Life on planet Earth requires clean water. Water is becoming more valuable than energy as over 2 billion people have no access to clean water. Over 90% of US industrial wastewater is not reused.
Micronic Technologies will reverse this.
Micronic was initially funded by friends and family, followed by R&D grants from the Virginia Tobacco Region Revitalization Commission, the United States Department of Agriculture, and the United States Office of Naval Research. Micronic is also engaged with the EPA in a cooperative agreement for an engineering and testing program for its wastewater treatment technology. Customers nationally and internationally are on the horizon.
Micronic has closed its Series Seed Investment with several institutional investors to engineer its pre-production system for EPA test and evaluation, and now planning its next investment with commercialization in its sights. See the press release in News.
