Micronic Technologies Funding Information

Life on planet Earth requires clean water. Water is becoming more valuable than energy as over 2 billion people have no access to clean water. Over 90% of US industrial wastewater is not reused. 

Micronic Technologies will reverse this.

Micronic was initially funded by friends and family, followed by R&D grants from the Virginia Tobacco Region Revitalization Commission, the United States Department of Agriculture, and the United States Office of Naval Research. Micronic is also engaged with the EPA in a cooperative agreement for an engineering and testing program for its wastewater treatment technology. Customers nationally and internationally are on the horizon.

​Micronic has closed its Series Seed Investment with several institutional investors to engineer its pre-production system for EPA test and evaluation, and now planning its next investment with commercialization in its sights. See the press release in News.
